The Business Angel networks in Denmark held their joint annual meeting in Odense in 2018 in May. The event had to close registration with the message: ”Sold Out” one week before the event. Tickets were popular and more than 240 Business Angels and other participants were proof of the increasing interest in entrepreneurship and startups in Denmark. The themes of 2018 was “syndication” as well as a live pitch from 10 startups seeking capital.
“Syndicated investment” is a very useful model when a startup accepts funding from several investors each contributing with a limited investment in order to balance the risk associated with investing in early-stage startups, said Kenneth Larsen from the Business Angel network Keystones.
The program for Angel Investor Meetup 2018 offered inspiring speakers, debates, pitches from startups and massive networking.
